The trains are appalling. how hard is it to tell passengers that there will be a delay or track closures? Most of the time you have to wait until you get to the part of the track that's got the problem before you find out you have to get on a bus which they haven't even organised yet and spend the next hour and a half in a car park. There are only two tracks on the Paraparaumu line how hard can it be to monitor.

Rail won't even be fit for selling as the Public Servants have destroyed all the goodwill. What a joke, give them millions of dollars to improve infrastructure and their reliability gets even worse. Cullen must have hated New Zealand taxpayers.

Something similar happenned on the same line last tuesday and the thursady previous. Are we all so flush that we can afford to spend up to an hour a few times a week on the (stationary) train? What effect has this morning, with a few 1000 working hours being lost once again?

It would have been nice to get at least an apology actually.

This is why I drive now. Well this and the fact the trains are expensive.
