LATEST: Broadcasters Simon Dallow and Alison Mau have announced their separation after 19 years together.
In a statement released by TVNZ, the couple, who have two children aged eight and 11, said the separation was amicable.
They have been married for 13 years.
Dallow co-hosts One News at 6pm with Wendy Petrie, and has been at TVNZ since 1993.
He has been a regular winner of the sexiest man on TV award in TV Guide's annual Best on TV readers poll.
Australian-born Mau, a journalist for 20 years, first appeared on TVNZ in 1994.
She has hosted Breakfast and One News as well as working in Australia and the United Kingdom.
The two presented One News at 6pm together from 1999 until 2003.
