A Porirua man has admitted to fighting at an under-11 rugby match.
The 36-year-old man has interim name suppression.
At Porirua District Court this morning he was remanded to reappear for sentencing next month.
The judge called for restoriative justice to be exploored.
Police were called to the match between Paremata Plimmerton Rugby Football Club and Northern United Rugby Football Club at Porirua Park last month.
