An Upper Hutt teenager with special needs who went missing on Sunday has been found safe and well.
Constable Graeme Hawken, of Upper Hutt Police, said the 15-year-old girl was found about 8pm at the United Video store in Treadwell St, Lower Hutt.
There was nothing suspicious about her disappearance, he said.
She was found about 10km from the Akatarawa Dairy on Akatarawa Rd where she was last seen at 10am.
Police said earlier that they were concerned for the safety of the girl, who has special needs and a medical condition.
