Police are appealing for sightings of a van stolen during the armed robbery of a central Wellington commercial cleaning premises.
Three people went into Philip Moore & Co Ltd on Abel Smith St at 3.40pm on Sunday and presented weapons at the occupants before stealing cash and a van. A fourth suspect is believed to have been outside.
All four people were armed with various weapons, including firearms.
Police spokesman Nick Bohm said the white Kia Pregio van, licence plate CPT371, had been found in Riverside Dr, Lower Hutt.
Police said the robbery left the occupants very shaken.
Mr Bohm said police were reviewing high quality CCTV footage of the robbery, which they would consider releasing publicly later this week.
