The trial of two men charged with the murder of journalist Phillip Cottrell begins today in the High Court at Wellington.
Mr Cottrell was attacked on Boulcott St after finishing his night shift at Radio New Zealand on December 10 last year.
He was found by a taxi driver and died in hospital the next day.
The two men accused of his killing are Manuel Renera Robinson, who was 17 at the time, and Nicho Allan Waipuka, who was 19.
