The man charged with the murder of Kapiti man Sean Strongman-Lintern has appeared in court.
Tristim Lee Eastham, a labourer from Waitangirua, appeared in Porirua District Court this morning.
Eastham was charged after Mr Strongman-Lintern was stabbed to death in a carpark near Paraparaumu's Retro Bar at the Kapiti lights last September.
The murder, which followed the August death of Kapiti teenager Izak Millanta also in the Kapiti lights area, prompted calls for the bar to be closed and for tighter liquor controls in the area.
Eastham was remanded in custody until January 31.
