A Rangitikei man has been airlifted to hospital after his tractor rolled down a steep hill.
About 5.30pm yesterday the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was called to a Turakina Valley farm where a 70-year-old man had suffered a serious leg injury in the accident, helicopter pilot Chris Moody said.
He was airlifted to Wanganui Hospital in a stable but serious condition.
