A collision between a car and a motorcycle makes it two accidents at Ngauranga Gorge this morning.
Inspector Ian Harris said the latest crash happened between a car and a motorcycle in the southbound fast lane on the State Highway 1 road about 9am today.
There were no serious injuries or traffic delays, he said.
Sergeant Andy Dow said an earlier accident happened in the northbound fast lane about 5.30am when a car hit the median barrier, punching a hole in it.
While the scene had been largely cleared before 7am, the lane was closed for a while while contractors fixed the large hole in the median barrier. It had been cleared by 9am.
An ambulance spokesman said three people were treated for minor injuries.
