ANZ customers hit by eftpos glitch
ANZ customers were forced to pay cash or not pay at all after an EFTPOS glitch affected customers across the country today.
A Paymark spokeswoman said there was an issue with the ANZ network which affected all debit and credit card transactions and all ANZ acquired merchants processing any card.
"Paymark is not experiencing any problems with any other issuer links and the Paymark network is operating normally," she said.
According to ANZ's Twitter feed, the issue was resolved around 12.30pm after first being made aware of it around 11.30am.
