There's no calm after the storm for Westpac Stadium staff, with their phones now ringing off the hook from people looking for items lost during sevens weekend.

Hundreds of ID cards, cellphones, credit cards, wallets and items of clothing are left behind each year, stadium marketing manager Steve Thompson says.

It typically took four stadium staff almost a week to sort through these items after the sevens.

"Pockets are the last thing you design in costumes, so every year we get the usual collection."

One lucky reveller has been reunited with his bum-bag, lost on Friday and containing hundreds of dollars, after it was picked up by a stadium cleaner.

Others who mislaid their possessions kept the stadium phones ringing all day from Sunday, Mr Thompson said.

However, he said the haul of lost property was getting smaller each year.

"It was a good, well-behaved crowd, so less is lost."

Found property was kept by the stadium for three months and, if still unclaimed, was disposed of.
