Woman found after night in the bush

A 47-year-old Galatea woman who went accidentally off the track in Whirinaki Forest Park, near Minginui, was found today after spending a night in the bush alone.

The woman was with 10 friends walking a track when she became separated from the rest of the group on Sunday.

A police spokesman said the woman had been found today cold and hungry but uninjured.
