Wellington man arrested for Hastings campground stabbing
A 33-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a serious assault at a Hawke's Bay camp ground last year.
The arrest was made five months after a 23-year-old man was left seriously injured after being stabbed at the Hastings Top Ten Holiday Park in September.
A group of people had been celebrating the victim's birthday when the assault occurred.
At the time, police said the alleged attacker had fled in the victim's grey Toyota Surf 4x4 before dumping the vehicle near the intersection of Albert Street and Park Road, North Hastings.
