Train commuters on Hutt Valley and Kapiti lines face disruption this morning.
The 6.40am service from from Upper Hutt to Wellington was cancelled between Upper Hutt and Trentham due to a mechanical fault, KiwiRail warned.
A mechanical fault was also given as the reason for the 7.40am service from Upper Hutt to Wellington having reduced seating.
On the Kapiti line, the 7.17am service from Waikanae to Wellington had reduced seating due to a mechanical fault.
Some services on the Kapiti Line were delayed by about 15 minutes due to a signal fault near Takapu Rd, KiwiRail said.
