One person has moderate injuries following a two-car crash at Te Horo this morning.

Senior Sergeant Marc Clausen, of Police Central Communications, said the crash happened at the intersection of State Highway 1 and School Rd just before 8am.

A woman involved involved in the crash suffered moderate injuries and had to be transported by ambulance.

Another person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Fortunately the crash site was not blocking the state highway, Clausen said.

''It was all off to the side of the road.''

A rescue helicopter was called to the scene but was stood down.

Do you have faith in police solving burglaries?

Yes - there's no faulting their commitment.

Mostly, but they are under-resourced.

Sort of - depends on when and where.

Not really - clearly a low priority for them.

Absolutely not.

Not sure - luckily I've never been burgled.
