At about 1:45pm yesterday, a 29 year old woman was approached by a man near the intersection of Tavistock and Buckingham roads.

She was  allegedly grabbed from behind and indecently assaulted.

Detective Inspector Paul Basham said the man was also facing charges in connection with an indecent assault in Park Rd, Miramar on March 1; an indecent act in Wha St, Lyall Bay on May 13; and an indecent act on Coutts St, Kilbirnie last Saturday.

He would also be charged in connection to an indecent assault on Rodrigo Rd, Melrose on Tuesday.
