Police and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment are investigating a workplace accident this morning in which a man died after falling from a motorbike.

The 17-year-old male from Napier was working on an orchard property at Twyford, near Hastings, when the accident happened at 11.30am.

Police said they would not comment until next of kin had been notified.
