It was perfect weather for a mud run, and about 600 people braved the elements for the Brookfield Butt Busta at Wainuiomata yesterday.

Photographer Kent Blechynden ruined a good pair of shoes and jeans to get among the action at the Scout Camp, where entrants, aged 5 to 50-plus, took on the Capital Multisports 4km, 8km or 12km run through streams and a mud pit.
