A teenage boy was knocked off his bike by a car in Upper Hutt this afternoon.

Inspector Ian Harris said the 15-year-old boy was hit in Fergusson Dr, Upper Hutt about 3.30pm.

The boy was uninjured and an ambulance responding to the incident was stood down, Mr Harris said.
