A man has been injured this morning after a collision between a car and a motorbike.

The accident happened on Knights Rd in Lower Hutt, just after 7am.

A man in his 50s, believed to be the motorcyclist, was taken to Hutt Hospital with minor injuries.

A police spokesman said Knights Rd was busy at this time of morning but was not a major traffic route so there should not be too many delays.
