The Hurricanes rugby team return to Horowhenua-Kapiti for a training session this Thursday.

The full squad is expected for the training, at the Otaki Domain, bar possibly the All Blacks players, said the Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Football Union.

The team drew good crowds at training sessions in Levin and Paraparaumu and the union is expecting a good turnout again on Thursday.

Chief executive Corey Kennett said the union is "delighted" that the Hurricanes have made themselves available to the public by holding training sessions in the franchise's smaller provincial unions.

"The attraction of great training venues in our region and the fantastic support they get from our rugby community obviously has been a draw card to them."

For those who want to be part of the afternoon, the Hurricanes will be training from 2.30pm, with time for autographs from 4.30pm till 5pm.

The team will also hold a coaching clinic with the Rahui under-11 and under-13 teams.

"We would love to see as many people as possible at Otaki Domain with their rugby balls, posters or jerseys for signing and don't forget your camera," Kennett said.
