Good news - the four lane Otaki to Levin expressway has been cancelled.

This decision by the New Zealand Transport Agency will definitely help the Levin township. A bypass of the town would not help.

We need the passing traffic to stop and shop.

Levin's Oxford St shops will be the first shops that the Wellington traveller will encounter.

It is good news for a struggling town. It will create employment and attract businesses to town.

Good news and we really need some of that. Good on you Bernie Wanden for your positive comments, unlike our mayor who seemed particularly negative. I say go for it Levin - growth, employment and development is what is needed now.
