Lower Hutt personalities are to feature in a TV programme to air this Sunday.

TVOne documentary show Neighbourhood features four different items showcasing ethnic minorities in a different New Zealand community each week.

The programme this Sunday, May 20, features interviews with members of the Lower Hutt Thai Buddhist community, a local Filipino artist, and a Hutt-based Irish musician and raconteur at the Irish Society clubrooms, and looks at how the Hutt City Council is preparing migrants for civil emergencies.

The Lower Hutt episode of Neighbourhood airs this Sunday at 11am on TV One, and the episode will be available to view online after it airs on tvnz.co.nz
