There's plenty of future promise in Hutt Valley netball if the number of young players named in Wellington age group representative teams is anything to go by.

Naenae Collegians United players Kelsey Albrechtsen,  Emma Hamilton and Rachel Savelio and Upper Hutt Maidstone United's Nicole Espinosa and Eliza Lloyd-Jones have been named in the Under 21 squad of 12 players.

The Under 19 representatives include: Pauline Piliae, Kimberley Goodearl , Aleisha Moen, Ake Isaia -Hapimana ,Karin Burger  and Brooke Thompson-Hetaraka, all from NNCU, along with Coach of the team -Lynette Imrie  (NNCU).

Rimutaka Rugby's Jasmine Ruatara and Crystal Tomoniko -Geale from Petone Rugby League Netball club are both in the U19 Development squad.

One of Hutt Valley's to umpires, Gareth Fowler, has been appointed to the whistle at the fourth annual Pacific Netball Series being held in Suva from June 27-29.
