Pukerua Bay two-piece Killing Bear will team up with Wellington band About The Deadlines for an album release show at Mighty Mighty this Friday.

PREVIEW: Killing Bear mix rock, pop and experimental sounds and promise an energetic live show.

Inspired by blues and psychedelic rock, About The Deadlines was formed recently. Band members Daniel Weetman, Andrew Christiansen, Dayle Jellyman and Jarney Murphy are all active members of The Black Seeds, Fly My Pretties, and the Roseneath Ragtime Band.

Both groups are releasing new records this month.

Hear their new stuff first at Mighty Mighty, 104 Cuba St, February 15, from 10pm. Entry $10.
