Porirua City AFC's three teams had mid-table finishes in the recently-concluded season.

Both men's teams and the women's side were promoted last year, but there was no masters' side at the club in 2012.

The Capital 12 team competed extremely well in the first half of the season and at the midway point were in second place. However, injury struck a number of players and other unavailability from team members meant they finished in sixth spot. In the cup competition they finished fourth.

The team's player of the year was Liam Holloway.

The Capital 14 team put up some consistent performances to sit in the middle of the table throughout the entire season, ending in fifth place. In the cup competition the team went on to win the gold section cup final 5-2. Player of the year was Andrew Hammond.

Porirua City's NZCU Baywide- sponsored women's team fielded six new players in 2012 with a number of the 2011 crop unavailable. The team lost two players to knee injuries for four weeks after the first game, and the injury curse was to strike regularly this season.

Fortunately, the back four did not miss a game. Of the 18 goals conceded, nine came in three games, and the team finished the season in fourth spot.

The winner of the NZCU Baywide Trophy for player of the year was left back Cat Martindale.
