North City's premier cricket side have their season up and running after a win over Onslow on Saturday.

Onslow were restricted to 237-8 at Nairnville Park. Mark Gillespie's 2-22 from 10 overs was the standout.

Norths got to the total in 45.3 overs. Russell Pepperell (43) and Pollard (37) made a solid start before Nerraj Chawla's unbeaten 73.
