Cameron Sneddon and Craig Mills are the two dapper lads at the helm of Wellington Fashion Week.
Sneddon created the event last year and has brought in his partner Mills this year to form a more well-rounded team.
As the managing director of Fashion Week, Sneddon does a little bit of everything with a focus on the aesthetic aspects.
"He's very much a business minded person, where I'm a bit more creative," Sneddon said of Mills. "Anything that has a modicum of creativity to do with the event, I oversee."
Mills is the business director, looking after the logistical, sponsorship and financial side of things.
"Last year I was doing both jobs and it was getting too much to juggle," Sneddon said.
"For the company and the event to grow and be a success I needed to delegate a portion of what I was doing, so someone else could focus on it 100 per cent."
The men agree their skills are being used in the right places.
"We complement each other really," Mills said.
Partners in life as well as business, they have found that juggling personal and professional can be tricky.
The men have been in their new office above Chews Lane for a few months and the space has been essential to leaving business behind when going home at 5pm.
"The office is rewarding. When I started this, it was literally in my bedroom. To now actually have an address assigned to the company . . . I didn't expect that in the second year - put it that way."
Sneddon said one of his Fashion Week highlights would be the World show.
"It will be amazing. Every time you bring it up with the hair and makeup directors their faces just glow, but they will not hint what is happening."
Long-time fashion forces such as World will be accompanied by fresh young designers.
"Oblivious is one that I'm really really looking out for. They've got some cool stuff. Cool menswear. Hopefully they'll dress us."
