The weather turned on a sunny day for the Highland Gathering of close to 1000 at Harcourt Park on Saturday.

It included a clan march, led by men on horseback, Celtic folk band Bowmore, clan tents, Scottish stalls, medieval sword fighting by Upper Hutt's Order of the Boar group, plus highland dancing, piping and drumming competitions.
