Two people were hurt in a car smash on Grant Rd, Wadestown, this morning.

LATEST: Two people have suffered moderate injuries after a car rolled in Thordon this morning.

The car rolled on Grant Road near Park Street after 7am, a police spokesman said.

"It appears the vehicle has been coming down Grant Road, has clipped a couple of vehicles and has rolled."

Grant Rd was closed and traffic coming down the road from Wadestown towards Murphy Street was being diverted via other downhill routes.

The road is now clear.
