Northbound morning motorists faced a slower climb up the Ngauranga Gorge this morning after a truck broke down in the centre lane.
A B-train truck broke down near the top of the gorge and blocked two lanes of northbound traffic for more than half an hour after police were alerted to the incident about 7:20am.
Police and Fulton Hogan attended to the blockage on Centennial Highway.
The truck was cleared from the road by 8:45am.
