A woman who won $200,000 in Lotto is planning a holiday before buying a house.

The woman, who won a share of First Division, purchased her winning ticket from Eastside Four Square in Porirua East.

She is planning an overseas trip, NZ Lotteries’ chief executive Wayne Pickup, said today.

She watched her win live on TV on Saturday night.

“I saw the balls come out and started marking off the numbers, I could not believe it when I had all of them in one line."

She cried with excitement and sent a text to her mother informing her of the win.

Soon afterwards she sent another text to her mother with the urgent instruction - "don’t say anything!".

The woman is also planning to use part of the funds for a deposit on her first home.
