A few of the kids were keen to make their own Harlem Shake video, so we thought we'd put the call out to our networks to get as many people involved at short notice in Titahi Bay, Porirua.

I'm a Porirua City Councillor (I'm in the helmet at the beginning), so thought I'd try and get Porirua Mayor Nick Leggett to guest star.

It was pulled together on the day with mostly Titahi Bay families that we know and a few ring-ins from around Porirua.

My husband is the milk man and all four of my kids are dressed up and somewhere in the crowd.
