A missing 94-year-old Masterton woman has been found alive.

Roma Holbrook Roberts, wandered away from the Metlifecare retirement village at about 3.30pm yesterday.

She was last seen heading south on Chapel St using a red walking frame, wearing black knee-high stockings, a red skirt, a white shirt with blue and green stripes and a black cardigan.
Searchers did not find any trace of her overnight.

However, Mrs Roberts was found at 8:35am at a property on Chapel St this morning, a police communications spokesman said.

She was being checked out by ambulance staff.
