Two buses have collided in Wellington's Courtenay Place after a pedestrian ran out on the street.
The accident happened at 3pm yesterday, a police communications spokesman said.
It appeared a pedestrian ran out in front of one bus. The driver had slammed on the brakes, resulting in a nose-to-tail crash with the bus behind.
One bus had a broken windsrceen, and the fire service mopped up a small diesel spill.
