Hutt Valley police are not seeking anyone in connection with an incident in which a woman was rushed to hospital with a knife embedded in her stomach.

The 48-year-old woman was found with injuries at a Knights Road property on Tuesday afternoon and taken to Hutt hospital by paramedics.

Police thanked the people who had contacted them with further information, and confirmed they were not investigating anyone in connection with the incident.
