Johnsonville have risen to the top of the men's and women's club competitions after the previous leaders both suffered heavy defeats on Saturday.
In the men's competition, top of the table Stokes Valley were thumped 22-1 on their visit to bottom-placed Victoria.
That opened the door for Johnsonville and through they came with a 15-7 victory over Island Bay.
In other matches, Eastbourne thrashed Naenae 21-1, Lyall Bay overcame Hutt 14-9 and Upper Hutt upset Wilton 14-7 despite Upper Hutt's four, skipped by Steve Leitch, suffering their first loss of the season.
The top of the women's competition changed hands when leaders Hutt were humbled 22-0 by Johnsonville.
The three bottom teams all recorded wins over the fancied teams. Silverstream accounted for Victoria 14-7 at Victoria, Park defeated Petone Central 14-7 and Massey Avenue beat Stokes Valley 15-7.
Island Bay beat Titahi Bay 14-7 in the other match.
