Wellington Saints have re-signed Breakers and Tall Blacks shooting guard Corey Webster for the 2014 NBL season.
It will be Webster's third season with the Saints, where he will link with his good friend BJ Anthony.
Webster, 25, is averaging 8.1 points for the Breakers this season, and has averaged more than 20 in his two campaigns with the Saints.
"I feel Corey is the best scorer in the league, and paired with LT [Lindsay Tait] and Beny [Anthony], I strongly believe they could be the highest scoring trio in the competition," said Saints general manager Fran Scholey.
The Saints also announced that former point guard George Le'afa will join Shane Heal and Seth Weakley on the coaching staff.
"Smart point guards generally make great coaches, and George will instantly have the respect of the senior players who have played with him," Scholey said.
The Saints will start their preparations this week, with Tait and import centre Elijah Obade joining the team.
Their season tips off on April 2 against Hawke's Bay.
