Wairarapa United and Wellington Olympic continued their struggle atop the Central League table with a 2-2 draw in Carterton.

Goals to Pita Rabo and Seule Soromon were enough for Wairarapa United at Howard Booth Park to keep their one-point advantage on the ladder after 11 rounds.

Jimmy Haidakis and Andrew Abba got the goals for Olympic, who hold a two-point gap over third-placed Napier City Rovers.

Rovers snared three points from their trip to Petone, toppling the hosts 2-1.

Paul Whitmarsh scored for Petone but Rovers got home thanks to goals from Jarrod Smith and Regan Cameron.

Petone hold fourth on goal difference, ahead of Lower Hutt City.

The latter stayed in touch with the leaders with a 1-0 win at Tawa, thanks to a goal from Tobias Bertsch.

Two goals from Kieran Cripps saw Western Suburbs beat Wellington United 4-0 at Newtown Park.

Sixth-placed Miramar Rangers were untested by Maycenvale in Hastings, winning 4-0. Sam Mason-Smith scored a double for Rangers.
