Mark Hammett
Head coach

Mark Hammett is coaching the Hurricanes for his second season in 2012. He represented Canterbury 76 times, the Crusaders 81 times, and the All Blacks 30 times (including 29 Tests). He was also assistant coach to the Crusaders in 2007.

Alama Ieremia
Assistant coach

 Ieremia played provincial rugby for Wellington and played in the former Super 12 with the Hurricanes. He also has 25 All Black caps.

Richard Watt
Technical Coach

Watt is the technical coach of the Hurricanes and is also the technical coach for the Wellington Lions.
