Loose forwards Faifili Levave and Jack Lam have both re-signed with the Hurricanes for next season.

Levave, who notched his 50th Super Rugby cap in last Friday's win over the Chiefs, and 2011 Hurricanes rookie of the year Lam bring the number of contracted players at the Hurricanes next year to 21.

Coach Mark Hammett said both signings were a coup for the club.

"Faifili's work rate this year has been massive. He was fourth in the team this season with the amount of tackles made but second when you look in comparison to minutes played."

"Jack is a consistent performer and hard worker on and off the field. He is a big team player and it is great to have him back for 2013."

"We now have all our loose forwards, except Victor who is in discussions with NZRU, signed up for next season which is a great result considering the top form they were in this year."

Will Aaron Cruden's omission hurt or help the All Blacks?

Hurt - he needs as much game time as possible.

Help - finally Beauden Barrett will get a proper run.

Hmmm - no biggie, just a temporary hitch.

Who is Cruden? I support the All Whites.
