They came in rags and ran them ragged

Wellington played in rags and brought home the riches when winning their first Australian Rules (AFL) title in six years in Auckland at the weekend.
Despite playing in borrowed gear and the 18-strong squad having to travel north in two campervans, Wellington beat Canterbury, Auckland and Waikato to win the title.
"When we arrived the other teams were in disbelief, but I think they were more shocked with how we played," coach John Jackson said.
"We borrowed shorts and socks and looked like mongrels. No-one had the same strip. It was pretty priceless."
Jackson believes having to overcome such obstacles galvanised the team.
"It's not about how you look, it's about how you play.
"The guys realised what they have done to get on the field, and it came through in their play. I honestly believe that's what got us through in the end."
In their opening match, Wellington beat Canterbury 48-46, then toppled tournament favourites and six-time defending champions Auckland with two late goals to win by 10 points. Wellington claimed the title by smashing Waikato 85-15.
"The biggest winning margin before that match was 15 points," Jackson said.
"To whip them like we did was very satisfying. It showed it wasn't a fluke."
Wellington's Mac Ta'avao finished as the leading goalscorer in the tournament.
Other leading players were Titahi Bay surf lifesaver Dean Ellis, Hutt Old Boys Marist rugby fullback James Kusel, Andy Christensen and Graham Rattenbury.
