Christina Aguilera called her daughter what?
Christina Aguilera and her fiance, Matt Rutler, have welcomed their daughter into the world and named her Summer Rain Rutler.
The singer gave birth to baby Summer on August 16 via C-section at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly.
A day after giving birth, she announced her daughter's name on Twitter.
"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," Aguilera wrote.
Summer Rain is the first child for the couple. She is Rutler's first child but Aguilera's second.
The singer has a son, six-year-old Max, who she shares custody of with her first husband, Jordan Bratman.
The busy coach on The Voice took some time off her role on the show this year to focus on her growing baby and produce her latest album.
Aguilera tweeted in April: "So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon ... album, baby & beautiful music to come."
She has not keep entirely out of the spotlight in the last few months, however.
The singer posed nude for V Magazine in August, telling the magazine she fully embraced her pregnant body.
"As a woman, I'm proud to embrace my body through all stages of life, staying fearless and confident in surrendering to the unknowns the future has in store," Aguilera said.
The pop star tweeted one of the photographs from the shoot, thanking photographer Brian Bowen Smith for the beautiful images.
Aguilera celebrated her second pregnancy with friends at a private baby shower in Los Angeles in July, according to Us Weekly.
She wore a cream maxi dress paired with a white blazer and a flower wreath headband, and guests enjoyed pink champagne and cocktails.
"It was very romantic with candles everywhere," a guest told the magazine. "Christina looked so happy and excited."
The singer received a graphic cake at the party, which depicted a naked Aguilera lying on floorboards with a baby half-delivered.
Her fiance was also at the bash, where she reportedly gushed about her daughter-to-be and the newly finished pink nursery.
The 33-year-old announced her pregnancy in February, a week after announcing her engagement to Rutler.
She broke the news of her engagement on Valentine's Day via Twitter, sharing a photograph of her and Rutler, 28, holding hands while showing off her new ring.
The pair met while on the set of Burlesque in late 2010, the star's first movie appearance.
Her divorce from Bratman was finalised in early 2011 but the pair had separated in 2010 after five years of marriage.
