British actor Peter Davison, perhaps best known for playing the fifth incarnation of Doctor Who in the 1980s, will visit Wellington in April.

Davison, who has also been popular in New Zealand in the television series All Creatures Great and Small, A Very Peculiar Practice, Campion and At Home with the Braithwaites, will be a guest at the Armageddon Expo at TSB Bank Arena on April 4 and 5.

Other guests will include Kevin Sorbo, star of Hercules the Legendary Journeys, and American comedian Michael Winslow, best known as the noisemaker in the Police Academy movies.
