Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex and the City wedding scenes are going to have to be reshot because they are a "big mess".
The actress - who reprises her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the big screen adaptation of the hit US TV series - filmed the original wedding scenes at New York's St.Patrick's Cathedral earlier this month, but has been told she must marry her fictional on/off lover Mr Big for a second time.
A source said: "The wedding sequence with Carrie and Big is turning into a mess.
"They rushed through the shoot, and now it looks like most of it will have to be reshot at the New York Public Library in Bryant Park. It's a difficult scene to shoot, and the team isn't thrilled with the material they have.
They are planning to get approval to head back into the library as soon as possible."
Sarah, whose feisty columnist character is often praised as a fashion icon, was also overheard complaining to co-star Willie Garson about her outfits in the movie.
The source added: "While the crew was building a new set last week, Sarah Jessica and Willie ate ice cream and teased each other about their over-the-top character costumes."
Willie is reprising his role as Carrie's close gay friend Stanford Blatch in the movie adaptation.
Sarah Jessica is said to be throwing herself into the project and has been working long hours, while co-star Kim Cattrall is often the last person to arrive on set.
The source revealed to the New York Daily News newspaper: "Sarah Jessica is the hardest worker on set. She never complains or acts like a diva - she shows up first and leaves last each night."
