A hip-hop showcase scheduled for Auckland's Vector Arena over the weekend - featuring chart stars Omarion, Marques Houston and Avant - has been cancelled.
Get Served was billed as "an exhilarating and explosive stage show with state of the art sound, lighting and video production".
A press release issued this morning by promoters C4 Events Group, Platinum Concepts and Rebirth Entertainment said the tour was cancelled because of "security reasons".
"All efforts were made to bring this tour to Australia and New Zealand but unfortunately the decision made was final," it said.
The concert was scheduled for Saturday night, and promoters said tickets for the show had sold well.
Refunds are available from www.ticketmaster.co.nz.
