Jude Law can't remember the Kiwi who is allegedly carrying his love child, according to reports.
Samantha Burke, 24, has now named her unborn child Sophia. She revealed last month that she was pregnant after trysts in a New York hotel while Law was recovering from an illness.
The Alfie star has said he will support the child if it proves to be his.
However, a source close to the English actor said he has no memory of the NZ-born, American-based waitress and would-be actress and model.
"She met him at a club in New York. He was sick, so she kept going to his hotel over the course of a week to take care of him," the source told E!Online.
"But Jude didn't even remember her. She hasn't seen him since New York. They've only been in contact through their lawyers."
And Burke has written in a blog that she is not out for money.
She posted: "Not once did I ever think about the money side of things. I thought about how I was going to be an amazing mother and that without a doubt is all that matters."
The pair met while Law, who starred in The Talented Mr Ripley, was filming the Sherlock Holmes movie in the Big Apple.
Law, 36, has three children Rudy, six, Iris, eight, and Rafferty, 12, and a stepson Finlay, 18, with ex-wife fashion designer Sadie Frost. If Burke's child is born on her due date October 6 she will share her birthday with Jude's eldest son Rafferty.
A statement issued by Law's agent earlier this month stated: "Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year.
"Mr Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."
Burke, a former waitress at the Hooters bar chain, is making the most of her new-found notoriety.
She now writes her own blog on the internet, tagged: Samantha Burke model, actress, mother-to-be.
It also includes a link to the Big Production Group for anyone with potential acting work or public appearances.
She has also taken the chance to respond to claims that she is a "golddigger" in one of her blog postings.
"I can't tell you how far from a golddigger I am," she wrote.
"I wish there was a reporter finding out how I've never dated a rich man in my life. I've always wondered how girlfriends of mine could even ask their boyfriends to buy them clothes.
"Anytime I have been out on a date I've always offered to pay at least a portion or leave a tip. I never in my life would have planned a pregnancy for money!
"When I found out I was pregnant I was scared like any other single female would be. I didn't jump for joy because I hit the jackpot, I cried my eyes out and started adjusting my future plans in my head.
