Actor Gary Busey has apologised to television host Ryan Seacrest after gatecrashing his live red carpet interview with Jennifer Garner.

Seacrest, broadcasting live to millions of viewers on the E! Entertainment channel around the world during Monday's Academy Awards, looked stunned as Busey started yelling at him at the start of his interview.
"You ... Ryan Seacrest ... I've been looking for you for years," Busey yelled.
"Why? What have I done," stammered Seacrest.
"It's not what you've done - it's what you haven't done that I'm interested in," Busey replied.
Seacrest returned to the interview, but Busey walked into the scene, hugged and then kissed a shocked Garner on the neck.
"I was going to ask you about being super mum," Seacrest said.
"Why don't you ask me about being kissed on the neck on the red carpet by this man ... that was nice," Garner replied.
"You look very nervous," Seacrest told her. "Where is Ben Affleck right now? We need Ben."
Busey called Seacrest's morning radio station to apologise for the incident.
“I didn’t know you were in the middle of an interview and I was just moving through there," Busey said.
"Your eyes looked like a deer in the headlights."
