The future of The Pussycat Dolls is uncertain amid reports of a messy split.
The band, who performed in New Zealand in May, have long been dogged by rumours they are on the verge of disbanding due to arguments between lead singer Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of the group.
The five-piece announced in September they were on "a break" while they pursued solo projects – but now it's believed they've thrown in the towel.
"It is war, they have broken up for good," an insider told the New York Post.
"None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight, then went off to do her own thing." The girl band's founder Robin Antin, who is releasing a Pussycat Dolls' fitness DVD next month, has tried to play down speculation.
"The Pussycat Dolls are very much alive and there is no truth to the silent treatment statements," she insisted.
"Nicole and the Dolls have always been close."
Scherzinger, who is dating racing ace Lewis Hamilton, has long been the main focusof the group, dominating their videos and promotional material.
