Kevin Federline has been approached to star in 'Legally Blonde: The Musical', it has been claimed.
The aspiring actor, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, has been asked to take on three different roles in the Broadway adaptation of Reese Witherspoon's hit 2001 movie.
A source close to Kevin said: "He's so excited! This is his chance to show the world what he can do."
Kevin - who first debuted his acting skills in 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', before starring in three episodes of hit US TV show 'One Tree Hill' - is considering moving two-year-old Sean Preston and 18-month-old Jayden James, his children with Britney, to New York if he lands the part.
The source added to Us Weekly magazine: "This is his dream and he wants to bring the kids now he has full custody. Britney's parents Jamie and Lynne have promised to help him make it work."
However, a representative for the show has denied reports.
'Legally Blonde' tells the story of Elle Woods, a deceptively intelligent blonde who goes to law school in a bid to win back her boyfriend but ends up pursuing a legal career.
